HeadBlade MOTO Razor

Great razor! Never had a shaved head before and this definitely the way to go!

I made this purchase to upgrade from my very old HeadBlade razor to the updated version. I honestly love the looks of the new razor, but it's performance is not up to the standards of my old version....this new MOTO razor was sent to me with the HB4 cartridge, and set up to pull/blades cutting towards the rollerball....I tried it and immediately was not happy..it failed to cut 70% of the hair with one stroke...I had to go over the same pass more than 6 times before I was satisfied. So after a very long shaving time, I compared it to my old HeadBlade razor and saw the difference....the new razors blade angle is steeper, and closer to the finger hole...and the finger hole is way to small for my finger, and I had to force my finger into the hole, which makes it to tight and doesn't allow the razor to float smoothly. My old razor accepts the new cartridges and cartridge mounts, and is set up to push the razor , not pull....which has always worked better for me. This is totally my opinion, the experience is probably different for many others....but for me, my old razor shaves circles around the new MOTO Razor......I will still purchase the HB4 & HB6 cartridges for my old HeadBlade razor.. and you can see in the picture how much larger the finger hole is, allowing my razor to float freely over my scalp

I’d much rather use the old original style. I’ve tried two of the newer versions over the years and I keep going back to my old original with trac II blades. Hope it does break on me.

Hey, just a little background...years ago I started shaving my head and by chance discovered a Headblade. I was sold on it immediately and ordered several because I'm great at losing things. And I bought all of them including the high end heavy weight models. Without going into too much detail...I let my hair grow back in again...then decided to shave it...like a walk in the park right? I tried every mass market x-y-z number blades/models and was getting so aggravated that it was taking me so long to even get a semi close but never satisfying bald shave d/head look. I then thought man...I never had anything but great things to say about Headblade so I bought one recently. It truly is night and day...speed, ease, no nicks, smoother than any shave or blade I have used...ever! I tell everyone that asks or wants to touch my bald head about Headblade. I got you on the advertising side no doubt....almost feel like I should apply for a sales job! If I can sell knives and liquor, I can for sure sell your Headblade! Wish I didn't wait so long to start shaving my head again with Headblade!
